About the Author
Eliot Jordan is a professional tea taster, singer-songwriter, and writer. After a lifetime cupping and buying tea, recording and performing his songs--even composing two musicals--he's focused on novel-length works and short stories in the fantasy, science fiction, and historical fiction spaces.
His debut fantasy work, THREE TURNS OF THE SUN, is the story of a woman with magical, musical, synesthetic abilities who must find her purpose in a patriarchal, warring world. This novel blends his love of music, literature, history, and the cultures of Asia's tea-growing countryside.
His newest work is a sci-fi fantasy titled IN THE ARMS OF THE MOON in which a fighting nun, a gambling-addicted baron, and a polymath monk risk a gravity-shifting expedition to save a precious icon from the Moon. The characters encounter a planetary divinity while the dealing with inter-planetary physics.
Eliot draws inspiration from world travel, reading and music, and hiking all over Northern California. He lives with his family in his native Berkeley.
